Tasty Venison Soup Recipe

Easy to make even for a beginner cook!
Venison Fagioli is wonderful hearty soup meal using ground venison from The Hunter's Wife.
It's also a great meal for a "friend in need" - fill a large jar with this hearty soup and take along with a loaf of crusty bread and some homemade cookies to bless someone in a tangible & tasty way. 

Ingredients:
2 lbs. of ground venison (substitute with ground beef if you do not have venison)
1 onion, chopped
1 (15 ounce) cans fire roasted diced tomatoes, undrained
2 (16 ounce) can red kidney beans, undrained
1 (16 ounce) can white Cannatelli beans, undrained
1 (15 ounce) can yellow corn, undrained
4 cups beef stock
3 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. pepper
5 tsp. parsley
1 tsp. KINDERS brand all-purpose seasoning mix
1 tsp. tabasco sauce (optional)
1 (20 ounce) jar sugar free spaghetti sauce
8 ounces of pasta

DIRECTIONS:

Brown the venison in a bit of avocado oil, then put into crock pot or stock pot with all other ingredients except the pasta.

Cook on low for 7-8 hours or on High for 4-5 hours or simply simmer on the stove top.

Add the pre cooked pasta 30 minutes before eating.

Serve with crusty warm bread!!!

Note: if you do not have a large crock pot, cut the recipe in half.

Pasta Fagioli also freezes wonderfully, so you can make a big batch and freeze the rest!!!
