The secret to my productivity in my sewing studio was captured in a Snuffy Smith cartoon my sister clipped from the Sunday newspaper many years ago. It had become very evident to close family members that the sewing machine and I had a close bond
and took precedence over my housework.
This cartoon described me so well that I had it enlarged and framed. It has had a prominent place in my sewing studios over the years. Somehow the blessings of daughters who love to clean house with a passion have been bestowed upon me so I get to create and stitch to my heart’s content, while they have followed the trail I leave behind while doing what I love to do—create and stitch.
